Temperature stratified optimization design of air handling units based on CFD technology

Summarizes the temperature stratification influence of AHU, and analyses the causes of temperature stratification. Simulates the flow and heat transfer of mixed air mode in the AHU by CFD technology. The results show the temperature stratification matching test results very well. Based on the simulation results, puts forward the key points of  mixed air distribution design. By adding special-shaped baffles in the mixing chamber, and the temperature difference of air supply is reduced, with the smallest system resistance increase, and obtains an ideal mixing effect and puts into practical application. Proposes and simulates three optimization schemes for the design of cold and hot mixing chamber, and the results show a good mixing effect.
